I know Iran wants some kind of international court trial. Would be interesting to see how much of a defence he will put up/be allowed to put up. Would he call witnesses from the West who aided him when Iraq was fighting Iran?
Yeah, I think it would initially go to the Iraqis.

I bought a “money vest” in Pakistan, made out of cotton, which goes under your shirt. It has pockets with zips for money, passports etc. Cost about US$0.50 each i think. Would do well, selling them.

Expensive to get pak visas for americans. I got mine in Australia for a lot cheaper but they wouldn’t give me a multiple. But you can try and get a re-entry stamp in islamabad if you get a single (it is the cost of your visa) or when in Kabul apply for a new pakistan visa.
I’ll direct you to Gordon again:

I’ve done Kabul to Peshawar no probs, but not the other way.
Met this guy who did it earlier this year, details incl.:

Basically you get permission, get assigned a guard to the border through tribal areas and then cross, get transport to Kabul and there you go. Peshawar is a couple of hours away from Islamabad.

Around a group of english supporters in the world cup winning colours of australia, next week after the final. Foulplay is clearly delusional over there in the mother country!

I’d say if you are only taking carry-on, buy a cheap bag to put in the hold with restricted stuff plus a few other things, then get to the other side, transfer to proper bag and chuck the cheapie.

He wasn’t on the bench for the Scotland match and not for this one, so they leave out their most experienced player against NZ. Giteau got injured in last match so thought Burke would come in. No, brought in Nathan Grey instead. It’s the same side as last match. Roff on bench.

Hmmm. France are third in the betting, might be worth a punt. Australia have been waaaaay under-par and not confident at all against NZ. France may upset England and (sorry Foul Play) I hope they do.

Interesting about the DGI but not surprising I guess. Castro rears his head still, quite like with Allende all those years back. I agree, being democratically evicted is best before he turns it into another Cuba. Is there a strong opposition leader?
