Things are so evenly split with the pro/anti Chavez forces, regardless of whether somebody makes a move or not, he has the potential to hold for a while.

Interesting about the DGI but not surprising I guess. Castro rears his head still, quite like with Allende all those years back. I agree, being democratically evicted is best before he turns it into another Cuba. Is there a strong opposition leader?
