      Smokescreen by Robert Sabbag

      It’s a true story about a gang of potheads that are smuggeling weed from Guajira, Colombia to U.S in the 70’s.

      In a old DC-3 that “occasionally catches fire”!

      He also wrote “Loaded, misadventures on the Marijuana trail” and one I think was titled “Snowblind” about cocain smugglers. He’s certainly getting lots of mileage on what sounds like rewriting the same stories. Smoke em if you got em eh?

      Too bad Columbia didn’t stick to growing weed. If they did “Plan Columbia” would be as easy as dropping various cartoon videotapes and Cheetos on the FARC to pacify them.

      I think the guy that founded High Times funded the magazine by smuggling weed from Columbia in the early 70’s
