Singapore fling

Well since SARS is been contained and such SEA baddies like Hambali
( who got bagged by the Thai Police, remember I told you the most likely area was the Thai Malay border) is behind bars, tourism in the area is trying to make a recovery. Singapore, the lion city and one of my favorite places is offering some great deals, recently they been touting a 3 days 2 nights deal for 127 SGD (go look up the exchange rate for heavens sake!!!) at the Sheraton and the Marina Hotel.

Singapore is one of the cleanest cities you’ll ever see and the Singa chinese are very accomidating, English is widely spoken. Spamhogs picks are:
The Center Town Marina, you can get on tour baots or rent your own for some fishing/diving touring or an evening afloat with elegant buffet. Visit The area around Changi and look up some WW2 hostory (the sight of the largest POW camp and the inspiration for James Clavells book King Rat)
Night life of course is Orchid road.

Last but not least take the A train into the Malay/Thai Pennisula up to Thai resorts such as Krabi and Ko Samui, then on to Bangkok.
Also look into flying Eva Airlines out of Taiwan, beautiful new planes.
