      I saw this fantastic recent shot of Brighton’s abandoned West Pier on another site, and it got me thinking – how about a random photography thread? Any shot (within reason, no snuff or hardcore porn please), good or bad.

      Flickr – I tried the others but prefer their lay-out and tools. For a small amount you can get a pro account that gives you unlimited uploads and other bits and bobs.

      I am thinking of trying out picassa – it’s just that the free software is great for organising your images.

      I went with Picassa because the camera came with a shitload of Nikon software.
      I am uploading Somalia pictures presently.

      Are you on picassa?

      Shouldn’t really matter what host you use, as each pic will have it’s own URL. If you can’t find it, right click on the picture itself, go to “properties” a the bottom of the pop-up, click on it and the URL should be on there, highlight from the “http” to “jpg” (or png etc) and hit the “img” tabs on the posting page.

      Does that help at all?

      Naah – found that one while surfing Flickr.

      I like it a lot, but admittedly it is a little overdone with the colour saturation (even for my tastes which tend towards overdoing the saturation a bit).
