Nicely done article on Pakistan Kramer. I liked the story about the police rookie, and once saw the exact same thing happen in Arabia. Funnier than hell watching the local p.d. roll up to the scene of a traffic accident only to keep the peace and wind up getting the shit beat out of them, thier vehicle trashed and ran off :wink: for doing their jobs.

Thanks, rr3. The police in the nwfp are not really respected that much. The frontier constabulary are respected more (they have folk from the various tribal groups participating).

Iran and Afghanistan stories will come when i return home in a month.
