Hi y’all
I’m travelling to Sudan again this weekend and hopefully getting into Darfur next week for 5 or 6 days, security permitting. The UN has just evacuated all non-essential staff from el Geneina where I will be heading so who knows if we will be allowed to travel but hoping for the best.
Also will be in Pakistani Kashmir in late Feb I believe camping out in the snowfields around Muzzaferabd and up the Neelum valley. I’m normally a tropical animal so the cold will I’m sure be a surprise and I have already packed an ex-army 5 seasons sleeping bag and a new parka.
Will write up Kashmir for you all when I get back to see how it relates to MikeThe Hack’s earlier assessment.
