Got the Sigma 10-20mm 3.5 today and the Nikon 70-200 should arrive tomorrow.
Happy dance.

Rob, the Sigma 10-20 is a bargin compared to the Nikkor 10-24…. sposed to be pretty sharp. Quite like Sigma’s 8-16 too… Are you getting the Nikkor AF-S 70-200 2.8 VR II…? Damn nice… what body you using. The D7000 is pretty tasty…

Yeah, but the nikkor 10-24 has the extra stop. My sigma is only 3.5
Nahh, the 70-300 is the non-VR one – bottom of the line – but cheap as chips and covers a focal range I didn’t already have.
These aren’t top of the line options, but for my landscape habit I don’t really need fast lenses as I usually use a tripod, closed aperture etc and the distortion is still practically unnoticable with these.
