      Hey guys,

Ive been in Syktvkar for about a week now after making a 26 hour train ride to get here.My only gripe is that the conductors leave the windows shut tight throughout the whole journey,so tawards the end,the who train just stinks of body odor, farts and cigarette smoke.
Im working my way round a few smaller villages here, the roads are a right off.Holes literally the size of bomb craters which makes for some rather interesting evasive driving.Temperatures arent too bad.Around 0 to -10C. In winter this place drops to about -30C with wind chill even colder.

      More later..

      cheers.

      Cool….or shall I say COLD?!

There is not much more appealing to the senses than hermetically sealed train cars over long periods of time.

      Look forward to pics.

Looks grim, but it’s gotta be a helluva lot better than soggy ol’ blighty at the moment.

Would love an article on those parts, G.

Still looks prettier than the East End of London.

LS – I love your pics old boy

I need to visit PB’s more often – but I’m a lazy git and enjoy winding up the knob jockeys over at the other place too much

      I must try harder

      Cheers folks
