Debris!…Abkhazia info needed.

I have a friend who is travelling from Kiev to Georgia/Abkhazia.

Hes looking for information regarding accomadation,fixer,driver,translator,car costs in Abkhazia.

´m afraid I cannot help you that much now as I know nothing about drivers fixers, translators etc. I just use public transport which is, as you can imagine, dirt cheap in Abkhazia. Nonetheless, tell your friend that if he goes from Kiev to Georgia via Abkhazia, he/she´ll be arrested by the Geo police for illegal crossing. No problem if he goes to Georgia first and crosses afterwards to Abkhazia. He must also bear in mind that non-cis citizens cannot cross the border between Russia and Georgia.

OTOH, there are only two entry points to get to Abkhazia:

-Sochi, Adler from Russia

-Zugdidi. Inguri from Georgia

The road from Karachayevo Cherkessia is firmly closed.
