How many kids in the audience were named Chesney?
I thought it was a 1990s thing in the UK whereby hordes of teen moms went around calling their kids Chesney and Kylie. - June 20, 2011 at 11:39 pm #13097ROBKeymaster
Um, is this somebody I am supposed to have heard of?

That’s exactly what I thought when he strolled over.
Rob, Obviously Chesney Hawks didn’t “make it” down under.
He’s the son of Chip Hawk, from The Tremolos (Silence Is Golden); remember them?Chesney is a bit synonymous with the cheesy side of the early 90s because of that song, but he’s been quite successful in the british theatre scene since.

I remember Chip from my auld Ma liking him
Chesney was ok, harmless, it’s funny how innocent some of the old 1990s pop stuff was compared to the self-indulgent arse around today. I much prefer the Ches to a tedious old crack whore like Amy Winehouse, or all the identikit “indie” bands with their stupid hair and skinny jeans.
If Chesney had had a sheep in his act the antipodeans would have been all over him
