What ever happened to the PB shirt idea?
- July 5, 2007 at 4:17 pm #8906Lee RidleyKeymaster
You can buy them from these two PB stores, depending on where you are.
US – https://polosbastards.com/artman/publish/gear.shtml
Europe – https://polosbastards.com/artman/publish/cat_index_46.shtml
Rob didn’t carry the links over when he upgraded last. So you have to find them via the old archive.
Cheers.

You can send me some cash and I’ll sort you out. I live out near Heathrow.
We can do a shady handover of the goods in some dark bar somewhere.

Cool. Any gigs comming up?
- July 6, 2007 at 3:50 pm #8910Lee RidleyKeymaster
Actually, yes. We’re playing an outdoor gig in Shepperton next Saturday (14th).
Wanna come?
It’s a train journey out of London Waterloo (about 45mins). - July 7, 2007 at 7:12 am #8911rickshaw92Participant
I dunno bout that, its against the rickshaw driver creed of greed to take a Saturday off in summer, I gotta get all that money ya know :D
Ill have to see how the week ahead goes. Any other dates on the horizon? - July 7, 2007 at 9:05 am #8912Lee RidleyKeymaster
We’re just emerging from a band crisis, as our long term lead guitarist, the guy I set the band up with about nine years ago, has moved on. Auditions ensued, and we now have two very good axemen that we’re going to alternate with. One of them is a very accomplished musician, who’s played Glastonbury a couple of times. (see http://www.petedownes.com/)
The things is, with Pete on board, there’s a better chance of us getting gigs further into London. Nothing booked yet, but I’ll keep you in the loop if anything happens.

I have got to say that Foulplay does seriously rock. I had the good fortune to see them (live!) and was very impressed. I have seen enough pub bands (hey, I worked in a bar that had live music) to know what is good.
This has nothing to do with Lee being a buddy. Foulplay would have had regular gigs in my bar if I had known about them way back when.
FP should be doing much bigger gigs, but I accept that everyone has jobs and family commitments. Wish I had that kind of talent.
Lee, give Roxy a call and see what kinds of contacts he has.
