Regional Assistant Security Operations Manager – (Asia Pacific)
International SOS seeks an intelligent, energetic and ambitious team player to fulfill the role of Regional Assistant Security Operations Manager. The successful candidate will have responsibility for provision of written and verbal security advice and assistance to International SOS Fortune 500 clients enabling them to manage the security risks to their business travellers, expatriates and business operations in the region.

The Job
Responsible for assessing security risks, providing advice and coordinating assistance to International SOS Security clients.

Remain abreast of regional security issues and events and provide security advice and coordinate security assistance to International SOS clients.
Deploy at short notice to support International SOS clients and International SOS teams in crisis situations.
Develop crisis management and evacuation plans for high risk locations throughout the region.
Manage a security provider network across the region, conducting regular telephone audits of security providers and updating the International SOS database.
Receive and manage out of hours security calls when on-call and be prepared to post situation updates on the security online website as required.
The Applicant

Tertiary qualified with at least five years work experience in a management position.
Strong leadership skills gained through experience in military special forces, intelligence agency or law enforcement fields.
Strong analytical skills and expertise in interpreting world events affecting political and social stability within the region.
Superior written and verbal communication skills with experience in report writing and presenting to senior management, clients and prospects.
First-hand knowledge and experience of the Asia Pacific region.
A “can-do”, mission oriented professional, prepared to travel internationally at short notice to difficult and high risk environments.

Some sort of portal for the Singapore military.

They send out sporadic emails with occassionally interesting stuff that I signed up to a while back.

They also have a few people working for them who post excellent analysis of terrorist groups etc. Far better than a lot of other anlysis on the web. I only came accross the site when I was doing some net research on some terror group or another.
