I’ve been to the Phils many times and had no problems. Provided you dont go to parts of Mindanao and the Sulus which are seriously dangerous, its very safe. Now I want to go to Honduras – not that bad surely? – Timbuktu and Nyiragongo volcano near Goma in the Congo but they do sound dangerous. Any recent info please?

It is interesting to compare this list for 2009 with potential list for 2011. Unfortunately majority of this list items are still very dangerous (August 2011). May be some African and Middle-East Arabic countries may pretend to inclusion in this list. Japan also may be added to this list due to awful disasters and technical accidents.
